Static Yoga Workouts

Back-to-front tilt- This is executed by creating a 90 degree angle with your feet on the line that the screws form.

Within both exercises, the goal is to maintain the ends of the board from reaching the floor. When you could successfully execute these methods, then you can add different versions of the tilts.

1. Try to tilt in each direction for two minutes.

2. While you are tilting, breathe in and bring your arms gradually together above your head. Exhale, and slowly lower your arms back to your sides.
3. Roll a pair of socks and "juggle" them by tossing them from just one hand to the other while tilting. Be certain to keep your eyes concentrate on the socks and not your hands.

4. Slowly lower yourself into a squatting position and see how low you could get well before you lose your balance.
