Step Seven: Take Accountability

When I first got involved in network marketing, I had no Mlm success strategy. I received in the mailbox a package from my new venture which included: a few CDs, a few brochures a breakdown of the compensation plan, a cost outline for the services I would be marketing and the do's and don'ts checklist. It all felt rather too much to handle at first and my first instinct was to give up before I even started out. One of the mentors that I had in my enterprise imparted with me a simple mantra that I even now repeat to myself 13 years later “If it's to be, it is up to me”. Having been employee for two decades I anxiously waited for a couple days anticipating somebody to tell me personally exactly what to do. I most likely could've waited several months however after 2 days of waiting around, it appeared to me that I needed to figure this thing out personally and generate a few calls as needed. Things are totally different now, you are now the Boss of your very own company and the morale of your business sits entirely with you. If you don't make any phone calls, book any appointments, do any presentations or sponsor anyone into the biz, do not anticipate your own team to do it either. I primarily thought that if I signed up some excellent people into my personal internet business, these people would certainly go out and do the same thing and I would not have to do anything except deposit the checks in my personal account.
