A Personal Trainer Will Help You Shed Weight Easily - By: ArticleSubmit Auto

I've always had motivation. I've always had discipline also. So I can't describe to you the reason I saw no results. I exercised consistently working on my problem areas, but I didn't see progress. My pounds didn't fall on the scale, nor did my clothes sizes drop. At least not until I started working out with a personal trainer.

Now I'm performing lunges with my trainer standing next to me. My muscles squeeze and burn. I keep thinking about giving up. But my trainer continues to motivate me. She tells me there are only 10 more repetitions to go, and that I can do it!

Before working along with a personal trainer, I wasn't slimming down. I was trapped. I hovered 10 to 15 pounds over where I wanted to be, and I was never able to drop my weight. I was hurting myself from over-training. After starving myself all day, I was eating only at night time. My way of life was counter-productive to the aspirations I wanted to accomplish.

At last, I thought maybe I should hire a personal trainer. The first thing she did was put me through a series of assessments in order to keep tally of my progress. Besides my weight - my personal scorekeeper of my improvement - she measured a few additional things as well. She measured my VO2 max (the amount of oxygen my body uses for exercise) my anaerobic threshold (when muscles begin to produce lactic acid and burn more sugar than fat) and my body fat analysis. They were different kinds of measurements, but nonetheless, they offered me extra determination for getting into better shape.

My diet was also evaluated. We determined that my weight loss was failing because I pigged-out nightly after hardly eating anything all day. She told me that I needed to change my everyday eating habits and make far better choices, like eating more whole carbs and lean proteins, rather than high amounts of carbs and low nutrients.

I lost 25 pounds in the initial six months of working out with a personal trainer. My other stats improved considerably as well! Thanks to my personal trainer, I was pushed far more than what I was used to.. She was never negative with me either, only supporting my progress with a conscientious attitude of positive reinforcement.

Since working out on my own, I've made many strides. The knowledge and encouragement provided to me by my personal trainer has taken my weight loss to another level. Without my trainer, I might have quit. I may be forced to work a little harder by my trainer, but I'm delighted with what we've been able to attain.
