It has become a necessity to have a high paying job, no matter in which part of the world the person is staying. A good job which also brings satisfaction with itself can be the best to lead a good life. The job industry has been very much affected by the recent recession, which has left many people jobless, and has shot up the unemployment rate.

The risen unemployment rate had raised everyone’s eyebrows and the Middle East countries emerged as the great saviors, with the oil and gas industry serving as the greatest employment providing sector. However, the situation is recovered and there are a number of new jobs in UAE. The job industry of UAE has shown very good results in the past few years by hiring candidates at all levels, and from different countries.

Over the few years, there is a rapid development in the job sector of UAE, and has marked a remarkable increase in the number of passed graduates and other professionals. The UAE government is also planning to reduce unemployment at all levels and sectors amongst nationals, and has encouraged the businesses to hire the nationals and also promote higher education.

However, there are opportunities for professionals from other countries in sectors like tour &tourism, accounts and finance, construction, and oil & gas jobs in UAE.
Problems encountered by the expats:

The main issue lies in the fact that there is a higher rate of unemployment among graduates of UAE, and to combat that, the companies are replacing the expats with the natives, and aid in emiratisation.
To improve the chances of getting jobs in UAE, the candidates can pursue higher education, as the candidates with a postgraduate qualification, specialized skills or appropriate work experience have more chances of gaining employment.
Language requirements:

Like other countries, the business language of UAE is English. Although, the companies dealing with local products and services demand good written and spoken Arabic apart from English.

The sectors offering new jobs in UAE
The main industries of the country are petroleum, manufacturing, construction and shipping. Other booming industries that seek professionals on a regular basis are travel and tour, hotels, education, healthcare, telecommunications, IT, engineering, etc.

Major cities that can be approached for highly paid salaries and good brand names are: Abu Dhabi (capital), Dubai (largest), Sharjah, & Fujairah.
Working conditions in the UAE:

The average working hours in all the emirates is eight hours per day, and five days a week. The days off are Fridays and Saturdays. During Ramadan, various companies operate shorter working hours specifically for Muslims. The working conditions are quite comfortable as compared to other Middle East countries, which have stringent rules and regulations.

However, there are some limitations in the dressing of woman who are in jobs in UAE, which are required to be followed. Women should not wear tight-fitting, revealing or transparent garments. There is a formal dressing for men, which includes full sleeved shirts and pants.
