A circle is a geometric figure which is considered to fall between simple and complex when it comes to shapes. Normally without using any tools other than a pen, pencil or crayon it is not very easy to draw a perfect circle. Without any tools, 9 out of 10 times, a circle is imperfectly drawn by a human hand.

A line is considered to be a set of points and in order to make a circle out of those, the points need to be equidistant from each other. The center of the circle is a point from which all the other points are equidistant. This point is known as the radius.

It is not possible to draw a circle while keeping its radius equidistant from all of its points. Even if someone uses a tool like scissors it is still considered to be a very challenging task to get that perfect circle. Some may even try tracing the outward shape of the circle on a piece of paper in order to get that perfect circle. But even here scissors are required to give it that circle shape. So in order to cut a perfect circle a certain tool is required which does the job without any fuss. This device is known as the circle cutter. Circle cutter is simple but yet a handy tool. It has a useful apparatus that is particularly designed to cut perfect round shapes out of various household and industrial materials.

Circle cutters are a device which basically cuts out circles so it is advised to take appropriate measures to protect hands before using this tool. Circle-cutters can be used for a lot of household purposes other than button making.

5. Circle cutters can be used to create a decorative garland for party or holiday decorating. First a series of circles are to be made with the cutter and then hole punches are to be made on each circle. After attaching each circle with the help of knotting the ribbon in each hole, the ribbon is to be cut from the spool to complete the garland.
