If you have a Blog/Site then it is sure that you must be scratching your head to decrease your bounce rate. Bounce rate is nothing but the Total number of visitors visiting only one page in the Site/Blog divided by the Total number of Visitors. This simple formula helps you to find the bounce rate. A healthy bounce rate is something between 40-50%. It is quite hard to go below 40% but there are also sites which have achieved it. If you are looking for some ways to decrease the bounce rate then here are few tips,

1. Design:

This is the most important thing which you must take care. The design of a Site/Blog reflects the authority of the site indirectly so it is always advised to keep the design clean and neat.

2. Easy Navigation:

This is the next thing which you must look after the design. Make sure that the users can navigate within your blog pretty easily so make the navigational links clean and clear.

3. Attractive Titles:

Titles are like covers to your articles so make them as much attractive as you can. A visitor is attracted only by the titles since they will not have a chance to see the whole article initially. Make it short but make it attractive.

4. Related Posts:

Well this is the most important part after the design aspects. Always make sure that you list all the posts related to each and every posts in your Blog/Site. This can really help you to get reduce the bounce rate in a large scale. You can list the posts manually or there are many plug-ins available to do the job for you.

5. Optimize 404 Error Page:

This is the final step you must do but a vital one as well. All that you need to do is to install a plug-in or just a simple manual work to add related posts for a 404 error page.
