5 Signs It Is Time To Ditch Your Facebook Account - By: Selma Grace

Is it time to get rid of your Facebook account? Here are some signs that you might want to get rid of Facebook and use the Internet for something else.

1. You Can't Figure Out All The Changes

Not sure what your timeline is for? Maybe you don't know how to tag yourself in a photo? If not, you should let Facebook go.

2. It Is Messing Up Your Professional Life

Do you have some old photos you are afraid might haunt you later? This might be a good time you should get rid of Facebook for good.

3. Do You Know All The People On Your Friends List

How many people on your friends list are just people that Facebook suggested, or you just didn't want to offend an old co-worker? Well, if there are a ton of people you don't talk to, why not just get rid of Facebook? It isn't social media if you are not being social.

4. You Are Sick Of Spam

Do you get a lot of requests for things like sheep or guns? If you get sick of your inbox being bombarded by messages requesting that you share crops or weapons, it might be time to get rid of Facebook. There is no need to be spammed by all of these games and apps.

5. Other Sites Seem More Appealing

There are many sites like Twitter and Google+ that can fill your social media needs as well. If you find yourself sending short Tweets, as opposed to using Facebook, why not just ditch your account for good?

Facebook is great, but there are other services that you can use. Do not ruin your professional reputation, or fill your buddy lists with spammers, just find another service and admit that Facebook was fun while it lasted.
