Essentially, good communication is the key. You need to be a good listener. You need to listen to and be receptive to what your partner has to say. You need to be respectful of your partner’s viewpoints. What is your partner’s point of view about things? What are your partner’s needs, wants, thoughts, opinions, beliefs, desires, likes and dislikes?
