By keeping a list of every cent you spend for the course of two weeks will really give you the best view of your spending habits. It is also the best way to mark overspending or unnecessary spending.

Tip 4: Choose a recording period that works for you

The reckoning personal budgeting period is usually on a monthly basis. However, you should be flexible since your case may warrant a different budgeting period like weekly. Better follow a budgeting period applicable to your case.
