3 Reasons Why Getting Your Ex Back Is Not Worth It - By: D.A. Campbell

There are any number of reasons you may want your ex back. It can range anywhere from they made you laugh to you loved arguing with them because the kiss and make up phase was as good as it gets.

Or it can just come down to that you have never felt that way towards anyone. They knew how to touch in ways that you never thought possible. All the warts of the relationships are far outweighed by the love the two of you shared.

That's a wonderful romantic sentiment but don't let it cloud your judgment. There's a reason the two of you broke it and if it was for any of the following then you may want to think twice about rekindling the relationship:

1. Abuse

It is just not acceptable under any circumstances. Forget all that "what they really mean stuff", the truth comes out in their actions. Trashing you verbally in private or public and putting their hands on you for any reason is grounds enough to end any relationship not go back to it. Abuse is not love and you cannot build a life together with it.

2. Untruthful

They tell you x and it turns out to be something else. You can accept the fact they may have just gotten their facts wrong but that's not the case. They tended to lie about thing you trusted them on. It's not a matter of they meant well. If that were the case then they would trust you (and themselves) enough to tell the truth.

3. Unfaithful

They tipped around and you find out. They swore it was a one time thing and it would never happen again. Of course you can always forgive and work through it but the problem is you will always wonder if it will happen again. That may be an uncertainty that you do not want to deal with.
