Forgiving doesn't mean you have to forget what they did, but you do need to be able to look and get beyond the issue.

One thing is for sure holding on to the issue will most likely mean continued problems in the marriage. If you can't forgive them, it's unlikely you will regain their trust. And for sure the problem didn't happen in isolation there are always reasons on both sides. And you've got to know trust is absolutely necessary for a successful relationship.

Communication is a key part of any relationship. If you are ever going to rebuild your marriage, you are going to have to learn to communicate! You can't keep your feelings bottled up inside you. You need to be able to talk openly with your spouse. They need to know how you feel. You need to identify what you perceive the problem to be. Your spouse needs to be able to listen have a sincere interest in what you feel and think it will take to rebuild your relationship.

Good communication is one of the top signs of a healthy marriage. And it will be needed throughout your marriage to keep your relationship strong.

You shouldn't be ashamed of seeking professional help to help you rebuild your marriage. They can help you learn some techniques that help people to communicate while in stressful circumstances. Spend time together. A great way to rebuild your marriage is by spending time together. You should really try having a date night once a week. The idea is to spend time together maybe even having some fun. It should be non-confrontational time. Take those ideas and use them for your date nights. Go to places you once loved to go to and bring back the feeling you once had for each other. Try doing whatever you used to do that brought butterflies in your stomach when you were together. Or you could try places you've never gone to before and start some new memories.

Find ways to spend time together and enjoy it, whatever that means for you. If intimacy is out of the question at this point, find activities you both can enjoy without getting tangled up with your issues.
