10 Tips for writing Bad Articles - By: Rodney J Smith

Writing articles is at the heart of website creation and promotion, so it's an important skill to learn. If you want to excel at writing bad articles, whether for your own site, an article directory, or a guest post, simply follow these simple guidelines:

1. Keyword stuffing and density
Make sure you use your keyword or phrase as often as possible in your article. Do not vary the order of the words, use plural variations, or under any circumstances substitute words like "it" for "your product" - there must be no room for confusion about what it is you're promoting. This will all help to boost your keyword density, which should ideally be at least five percent.

2. Write for the machine
Remember your target audience - search engine bots. These autonomous beings do not particularly care about style, sentence construction, or even logical consistency, so do not waste time and effort on these things. Rather concentrate on volume, and simply push out as much content as possible in the shortest time.

3. Spelling and grammar
Following on from the previous point, don't bother running a spelling and grammar check. In fact, building in some good mis-spellings can actually help you - search bots love that stuff.

4. Plagiarise freely
Even the worst writers occasionally run out of things to say. If this is you, simply use something someone else has said instead; for the true master of bad article writing, disguise these as "quotes".

5. Duplicate content
Why stop at plagiarising chunks of your article when you can get someone else to do all the hard work for you? Simply find an article you like and copy it verbatim. This means you avoid all kinds of unpleasant tasks like research, typing, and worrying about correct spelling and grammar. If you're concerned about SEO you can convert any links to nofollow, or simply delete them entirely.

6. Auto-generated content
Not everyone likes to have to go to the effort of finding good articles to rip off, so if that's you I recommend you get your hands on one of those nifty article generators. These pieces of software are truly excellent at generating strings of nonsensical text filled with your keywords, and best of all, because none of your human visitors will have a clue what your article is about, they'll be more likely to click on your ads.

7. Over-promise, under-deliver
The most important part of your article is the title. This must be your keyword phrase to attract search traffic, but don't worry too much if the rest of your content is unrelated. (Notice how cunningly I've used this technique in this article - the title is "10 rules..." but I've mentioned only seven). No-one's going to read your article anyway, remember? They'll be far too busy clicking your ads. This releases you to create articles about absolutely any subject, whether you know anything about it or not, and consequently you can target all the high-paying specialist niches you can find.

Follow these simple tips and I guarantee you'll be producing articles to rival the worst out there!

(PS: In case it isn't obvious, you should read this with your tongue firmly in your cheek, and if you do decide to implement any of these techniques, you do so entirely at your own risk!)
