But let's take it a step further. What about 10 percent of the efforts of 100 people? Or how about 20 percent?

If you have a system that allows you to promote your product or service in a unique and different way, there is no limit to how many people you can bring into your business. All ceilings are lifted.

It's great if you get leverage through the expansion of your organization, but if you can break the traditional boundaries that normally constrain direct salespeople and dramatically multiply the results of yourself and everyone on your team at the same time... you'll see the kind of growth that dreams are made of.

I have written many articles (about 40) about various ways to drive traffic and promote your website or business opportunity. This article is going to address off line post card marketing. But let me start by giving you some of my background.

My wife and I owned a very successful stock and bond investment firm with 6 full time employees for 12 years before selling it in 2005. The last 2 years we were in business, we used direct mail off line postcard marketing to promote our business by sending out simple and inexpensive postcards to prospective clients. The postcard mailing program was wildly successful bringing us hundreds of new clients over that 2 year period.

Top that with the fact that large companies like Capital One and Sears routinely use direct mail marketing to promote their business. My guess is that they do that because it works and it helps them build their business.

Fast forward to today. As I reflected on our success with our brokerage business and the fact that large companies use this method to build their business, I decided to incorporate postcard marketing to promote my online business. Here are the reasons why:

1. Over all, this is really is the most duplicatable form of marketing that exists today. And as stated above, it's great if you get leverage through the expansion of your organization, but if you can break the traditional boundaries that normally constrain direct salespeople and dramatically multiply the results of yourself and everyone on your team at the same time... you'll see the kind of growth that dreams are made of.

2. Unlike some of the online marketing that is out there, postcard marketing is not rocket science, because all you ever need to do is mail out cheap little postcards. Most anybody can do that. So no internet marketing skills are needed. There is a huge market of aging baby boomers (of which, at age 56, I am a proud member) who don't know how to use the computer (other than sending e-mails). This type of "offline" marketing fits right into that demographic.

3. Direct Mail Postcard Marketing makes sense because a lot of the mail that used to come to us in our mailboxes now comes to us in our e-mail box. Therefore, there is less competition by using offline marketing.

So if you have been frustrated by trying to compete with the many people trying to promote their business online, I would strongly recommend that you give offline postcard marketing a try. Duplication is key to many business opportunities out there and the duplication process that you will receive with offline marketing will absolutely blow you away.
