Losing someone we love is not easy to overcome. We may suffer from different roller coaster emotions as such will be part of the grieving process, but as soon as we find release, we realize that we need to move forward no matter what the cost. It is inevitable that along the process we often ask ourselves with questions we find hard to answer but when we hit the right pedestal with the help of our friends and relatives, inch by inch, we can possibly recover from the crucial battle of accepting the death of our loved ones.

Forgetting the memories may seem impossible. This won't be easy to realize the lost all at once, but as time goes by, when we are ready to accept the fact that everything is certainly part of life, we will slowly recover from the deepest sense of emotional trouble. However, to combat the frightening reactions that we may feel, there are certain ways to consider so we can win over the queasy situation.

Grief, what is it? This is characterized by an significant response to certain loses. It is considered as the feeling of hopelessness when someone or something is taken away from us. It may be associated with the death of the person we love or the actual loss of something we value the most. There are five stages of grief such as, Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and finally Acceptance.

Denial is the first stage of grief. During this stage, we may say to ourselves that this can never be happening. We usually place a border between the reality and ourselves so we can protect our ego from the heightening stress we will feel in a long run. This may be normal for a couple of days, but having been staggered on this stage would often lead to psychosis.

As soon as we realize that such event has really occurred, we may be predispose to ask why it has happened. We start to get angry and blame the people around us. At this stage, we are starting to freak out and relate the cause of such uncertainty to others. Hatred will be the common issue if this will not be resolved as soon as possible.

The 3rd stage of the grieving process is bargaining. During this stage, we are bound to beg for such event from happening by giving out our best cards so we can bring back the time before the actual situation occur. There is this ?if only? thing that would come across our minds.

Depression is the longest stage of the entire process. It usually takes days, weeks or months before we can accept the reality. We may face physical problems during this period like weight loss or weight gain, insomnia and body aches. Depression will lead to schizophrenia if one cannot overcome it as soon as possible.

It may be difficult to accept the lost of our loved ones, but we can ride the whole process with the help of our friends and relatives. Coping merely depends on how we view things either in a positive or negative way. With right management, we can absolutely combat the effects of grief in no time.
