The Shark Steam Pocket Mop has a longer cord and larger water tank. Both of these things were features that were commonly complained about by users of the original Shark steam mop. It also has a telescopic handle now and several other features that the original Shark was lacking. Among them are additional shaped mop heads, a dusting mop head pad, and a carpet attachment that can be used for deodorizing carpeting and rugs.

Expect to pay more for the Shark Steam Pocket Mop. With all the extra bells and whistles, it retails for about $50 more than the original Shark sells for. This puts it up there as one of the more expensive steam mops available on the market today.
