Many of us strive to stay healthy and fit, but sometimes it can be a struggle. However, fitness and trying to keep our health in check shouldn't be a struggle at all. Instead it should be as simple as eating healthy foods and drinking plenty of water because this is where are bodies get their nutrition and hydration too keep us fit and healthy.

One of the easiest and best ways to start getting healthy is by eating healthy foods that are full of color and brightness. Now this doesn't mean eat a doughnut with pink frosting and rainbow sprinkles, or a cookie with green frosting in the middle. This means eating colorful raw or steamed fruits and veggies. Getting fruits and veggies into our diet and a lot of them help keep our health in check. Now you don't necessarily have to eat raw veggies or fruits straight up. You can add them too salads, sandwiched, or wraps. Some people even like to add fruits too a smoothie with some fresh plain yogurt, or make a fruit and veggie juice using a juicing machine. It doesn't matter how you get fruits and veggies in to your diet just as long as you get at least 10 to 12 servings of them every day. This will also help with your fitness because fruits and veggies supply energy to your body, which will help keep your blood sugar levels normal so you always have energy to workout and stay fit.

Now eating colorful fruits and veggies isn't the only way to keep your health up. You also need proteins that come from eating yogurts and cottage cheeses. The proteins you get from these two dairy products help provide your body with the protein it needs to help keep your muscles, bones, and tissues strong throughout your body. With out protein we wouldn't have the strengthen to do fitness activities because our muscles would be weak instead of strong and healthy.

Other ways to make sure your eating healthy is by adding nuts, seeds, and berries into your diet. Nuts, seeds, and berries contain essential vitamins, minerals, proteins, and antioxidants our bodies and immunes systems need to stay in good health. They vitamins, minerals, proteins, and antioxidants found in nuts, seeds, and berries help protect and prevent us from getting cancers, diseases, infections, and illnesses. The best way to get these super foods into your diet is by adding them to a whole grain cereal, yogurt, or granola bar recipe or mix. These are also healthy snacks too munch on when you are hungry instead of gobbling candy bars and cookies down.

Some other foods you will want to add too your diet to help make sure your eating healthy are organic skim milk, whole wheat and grain breads, brown recipe, fish, dried fruits, and other whole foods. Try to stay away from sugary, salty, and processed foods. These types of food will not help with your fitness at all. Instead they will help you gain weight and end up with several server health problems and conditions. You should stick to organic natural whole foods without chemicals in them because they are packed full of more nutrients that will help keep your health in maximum shape.

The key to fitness, health, and health eating is staying away from the inner isles in a grocery stores and processed foods. Eat whole natural organic foods from grocery stores whole food stores, and farm stands. The healthier you eat the more energy you will have to keep up with your regular fitness routines, and the healthier and happier you will feel.
