Gareth Pert, NZ is an experienced project manager and engineer with several years of working experience. He attended a five year Engineering Degree program at Waikato University in Hamilton and graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering with Honours. He wrote his last year’s thesis on the feasibility of renewable energy for electricity generation of the Hokianga Harbor (NZ). In his University years, he was also the lead engineer for the development of the initial 2007 year WESMO team. All through his education, Gareth Pert, New Zealand was a brilliant student and one of the most promising members of the engineering batch. After completing his engineering, he worked in Afghanistan, largely with the military. He has also worked with several reputed firms in his capacity as a project manager and engineer. Gareth Pert also offers services for business analysis, feasibility studies, risk management, engineering design and strategic planning.

Presently, Gareth Pert is employed with Central Asia Development Group (Middle East) and he offers his services for business development, business analysis, financial forecasts and reporting along with development of business and finance management systems. He oversaw and managed all engineering projects in Southern Afghanistan which has aggregate value of US$100 Million. As a project manager with CADG, he oversaw and managed all engineering projects in BSN; Afghanistan with estimated value of projects at US$25 Million. He has worked in an operational capacity throughout many locations in Southern Afghanistan managing multi-million dollar projects both within and outside the wire for the coalition forces.

With project value approximately US $10 million, Gareth Pert, NZ handled project areas such as contract management, civil construction, road construction, construction and management of an aggregate crushing plant, construction and management of a concrete batch plant, water treatment, earth works, sewerage, financial management, QA/QC in accordance with CDM regulations.
